CERTIFIED AGING LIFE CARE PROFESSIONAL
Wendy Walker Stanford, LOTR/ALCP/CMC
Wendy Walker Stanford, an occupational therapist of 28 years, founded Stanford Senior Services in 2023. During her last ten years as a geriatric occupational therapist, Wendy saw families struggle to make decisions for their loved ones. Caregivers were often overwhelmed and confused about care solutions and services. Communication between family members, doctors, and other professionals was difficult.
It was clear to her that what families needed was someone they could trust to consistently provide guidance about which actions would ensure an optimal life for those they loved.
Before founding Stanford Senior Services in 2023, Wendy worked in a Continuum of Care Community for ten years. She served seven years as the Director of Rehabilitation for Triton Healthcare at St. James Place in Baton Rouge.
Wendy earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Louisiana Monroe. She completed internships at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, MA; Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX; and Dorothea Dix Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
